In Renewables we have major EPC-projects and service projects in the pipeline for short- and long-term operation. It calls for excellent Contract Management. Thus, we are looking for a Manager to our Contract Management team, who not only can execute high level contract management activities and leading the team but also is motivated by being a part of the daily operation.

Your position

You will be a valuable member of our team dedicated to managing and improving contract management framework and processes both upstream and downstream. You will lead a team of Contract Managers, ensuring that our contract management practices are compliant, efficient, and aligned with our strategic objectives. Thus, you have a strong business understanding, a commercial mindset, and the ability to act on multiple organizational levels and among difference viewpoints. Your primary stakeholders will be our customers, and internally you must play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth interaction between sales, procurement, project management, and management.

Your tasks & responsibilities

In this job you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, mentoring, and developing the Contract Management team of currently 6 employees with focus on performance and thriving.
  • Developing contracting standards and guidelines in collaboration with Legal and Procurement.
  • Supporting bid responses and contract negotiations.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Managing and monitoring existing project contracts, including tendering, planning, performance, and close-out.
  • Bridging up- and downstream requirements
  • Identifying and managing contract risks, particularly commercial risks.
  • 30 -50 travel days per year should be expected - primarily to Germany and Poland

Your profile & qualifications

We imagine that you have:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in law, business, or supply chain management.
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple contracts from cradle to grave, including knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
  • Proven ability in contract change management and claims handling.
  • A proven track record of negotiation within an international environment
  • Experience with a project-oriented organization
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English.
