Job Description
Would you like to take up the opportunity to enter into a fast-evolving industry with the outlook of a high degree of personal development in a green Company in growth? We are looking for a motivated student to join our M&A Team at European Energy.
The Team
As our new Student, you will join our growing M&A and Asset Finance team at our Headquarters in Søborg, Copenhagen. The team currently has 38 committed colleagues and one student assistant, and together overall responsible for all of European Energy's divestment and financing processes on a project level.
We lead end-to-end M&A and Asset Financing processes, including financial modelling, investor relations, and negotiations with banks on construction and project financing. In addition, we oversee project execution, portfolio divestments, and strategic partnerships-managing transactions from origination through to closing. We focus on developing and maintaining long-term relationships while promoting a competitive process with external partners. At the same time, we support European Energy's internal structuring processes and the major investment decisions made throughout a project's lifecycle until completion. The department is part of the CCO organization, which consists of more than 69 professionals and has a holistic and strategic focus on European Energy's commercial activities.
How you will create impact
As a Student Assistant, you will play a key role across various tasks:
- Become an integrated part of a dedicated "deal team" for M&A or Asset Finance transactions and function as support to the entire group
- Development and maintenance of cash-flow models
- Supporting the preparation of investor and lender material (teaser, IM)
- Coordinating the preparation of Virtual Data Room
- Supporting the preparation of financial investment decision meeting material
- Supporting the preparation of the Internal Structuring documentation as Projects pass through the approval gates
- Ad hoc tasks

You are a student in the last year of your Bachelor program or first year of your Master program within Finance, Economics or similar. To thrive in the role, we imagine you have the following competencies:
