Job Description

When it comes to HR, we are living a mindset based on business orientation, agility and operational excellence whilst believing our purpose is to create value for the organisation and employees. We are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our UK HR team at RWE Renewables Management UK Ltd, acting as an advisor to our business and thus helping to translate business organisational strategy into HR activities. The ideal candidate will have the right business focus and entrepreneurial mindset in order to operate with the business by showing information, understanding the business needs, linking it and helping leaders transform

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders on all aspects of HR to ensure HR genuinely adds value, thus providing HR policy expertise, consultancy and guidance on any employee-related operational HR issues
  • Build and manage trustful working relationships with key stakeholders and business clients at all levels and understand their needs and expectations
  • Proactively support the delivery of HR processes at the client's side
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relation issues and HR projects cross-functionally
  • Shaping and maintaining the relationship with Co-determination bodies and other stakeholders in the context of negotiations between employer and employee representatives
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with legal department as required
  • Ensure operational excellence and outstanding customer focus at all times
  • Actively identify gaps; propose and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Act as performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in people management
  • Provide guidance and input on business organisational structure
  • Partner closely with other HRBPs and internal HR teams on global strategy and execution

Requirements

  • Academic background in an HR-related field (Economics, Business Administration, Psychology or equivalent with a strong HR/people management focus
  • Experience within a generalist HR Business Partner role having worked in a fast-paced, delivery-focused commercial environment, ideally in the international environment
  • A Proven experience of working successfully and confidently with Co-Determination committees
  • Analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels to convey complex contents in a way that is actionable for the business
  • Strong level of self-drive and pragmatic 'can do' attitude as well as ability to work independently
  • Proven collaborative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills
  • Desire to continuously improve and challenge the status quo
