Your position
As an Operational Buyer, you will become part of our Procurement team and support our Renewables business with efficient and reliable operational purchasing. You will play an important role in ensuring that materials, orders, documentation and supplier coordination are handled with accuracy and pace.
In this role, you will work closely with project teams and internal stakeholders across functions, helping us strengthen collaboration and consistency as part of our One Service setup. You will support daily procurement activities, maintain a high level of quality in documentation and processes, and contribute to a professional and well-coordinated supply chain. Safety, compliance and a structured way of working are essential parts of the role.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As an Operational Buyer, your main responsibility will be to support project execution through efficient purchasing and strong coordination across stakeholders. Your tasks will include:
- Converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders through the requisition-to-pay process
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and follow-up on orders
- Expediting purchase orders and supporting accurate invoice matching before payment
- Maintaining procurement documentation, correspondence and records in the relevant systems
- Supporting the use of correct templates, processes and compliance standards in procurement activities
- Identifying supply risks and supporting timely escalation and resolution where needed
- Providing operational and administrative support to the Procurement team and Purchasing Manager
- Contributing to a collaborative, service-oriented and safety-focused way of working
