As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll provide expert recruitment support to your allocated business area, delivering high quality hires today while building talent pipelines for tomorrow.

We have 2 fixed term contract opportunities available to start as soon as possible, until December 2026.

What you'll be doing

You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand their resourcing needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions across high volumes of roles, often with competing priorities and tight delivery timelines.

This will include managing end to end recruitment activity across multiple vacancies at pace, while maintaining quality, governance and a strong candidate experience.

You'll be recruiting predominantly in candidate short and highly competitive markets, requiring a proactive and creative approach to sourcing.

Direct sourcing and headhunting will be central to your role, alongside developing attraction strategies, building talent pipelines, and engaging passive candidates through a range of channels. You'll also provide insight and advice on recruitment best practice, assessment approaches and market conditions, using data and insight to continuously refine your approach.

Acting as an ambassador for ScottishPower, you'll periodically represent the business at careers events and assessment centres across the UK.

What you'll bring

You'll bring solid experience in a consultative recruitment role, either inhouse or within a specialist agency environment, with a proven ability to manage high volumes of vacancies simultaneously and juggle multiple priorities effectively.

You'll be comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where requirements can shift, and delivery really matters.

You'll also bring strong experience recruiting in candidate short or hard to fill markets, with demonstrable capability in direct sourcing, headhunting and creative sourcing techniques.

A strong understanding of recruitment best practice, employment legislation and market dynamics will enable you to adapt your approach to meet the needs of different business areas.
