In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Fund Solutions - platform delivery company providing complex fund management and investment services - is currently looking for a Fund Controller to join our office in Luxembourg.

Team

Luxembourg fund finance team comprises of 5 well-experienced controlling team working in parallel with 3 reporting specialists. Our office in Luxembourg comprises of 20 professionals in finance, legal, compliance and business developments.

Role

In your role as Fund Controller in our Luxembourg Fund Finance & Ops team, you'll work with 5 skilled team members. In this role, you will collaborate closely with service providers to manage accounting for investments and fund-related accounts.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to

  • Ensure timely and accurate Fund NAV and financial records with oversight of service providers.
  • Anticipate and address accounting and fund-related accounting issues in advance.
  • Monitor and ensure that all controlling milestones and deliverables for all Fund entities are complied with.
  • Provide financial input and disclosures in the financial statements and reports related to investments.
  • Coordination with, not limited to, Valuations, Legal, Tax Teams and external service providers in financial & NAV related matters.
  • Review and coordination of tax and audit compliance works.

You

We are looking for a candidate holding a relevant master's degree in either audit or accounting with 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with experience from the financial or fund administration industry in Luxembourg.

In addition, the ideal candidate is motivated and flourishes in a productive and forward-thinking environment.

We look for the following in a candidate

  • Solid knowledge of accounting or controlling for investments following IFRS (LUXGAAP and other GAAP is beneficial).
  • Knowledgeable of common PE/Infrastructure funds, fund flows and Luxembourg regulation.
  • Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Comprehensive analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, as well as great communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in an international, efficient, and highly varied environment.
  • Excellent team working and stakeholder management skills (internal & external).
