Job Description

CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for a Student Assistant (internally called Analyst) to join our Finance team in Junior Controller capacity.

The Fund and Business Controlling team is committed to optimizing financial processes and frameworks for CIP Managed Funds. As a member of this dynamic group, you will engage in cross-department collaboration, working to improve financial frameworks, and implement robust control systems. The team is located in Copenhagen. With colleagues representing four nationalities, the workplace is both rich and diverse, fostering a collaborative and stimulating environment.

Role

As an Analyst, you will have the valuable opportunity to apply your analytical skills in practice, working alongside highly qualified and experienced professionals while contributing actively to CIP's fund management.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you will participate in financial controlling activities for fund entities and other relevant entities, investors, and projects. Additionally, you will be involved in finance projects that aim to optimize financial processes and frameworks for CIP Managed Funds.

This position will give you deeper insight into the various aspects of financial operations within the fund management sector.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to

  • Financial controlling across multiple entities and fund entities
  • Performing various financial analyses using Excel to support decision-making
  • Participating in finance projects focused on optimizing workflows
  • Preparing fund budget and follow-up presentations
  • Handling ad hoc tasks as needed

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) based at CIP's office in NordØ, Copenhagen.

You

We are seeking a candidate in 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration / Cand. Merc, or another appropriate field of study.

We look for the following in a candidate

  • High academic performer with strong analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting practices
  • Enjoys taking responsibility and demonstrates keen attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also enjoying teamwork and engaging with colleagues at all levels
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the ERP system Navision (or similar) is an advantage
  • Fluency in English and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are essential

Please note that we do not offer a remote working opportunity, thus you must be a Danish resident or an upcoming student enrolled in a Danish university to be eligible for this role. Students on exchange in Denmark are not considered eligible for this position.
