Responsibilities and tasks
You will be the business partner and a key financial sparring partner for the business unit, responsible for the day-to-day business controlling activities and for driving the budget and forecast processes. Reporting to the Manager of Business Controlling, you will provide high-quality financial planning and analysis support.
Besides the controlling team in Esbjerg your primary collaborators will be Managers and colleagues within the Service business unit in Denmark and in Germany, and your primary tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparation and quality assurance of monthly financial statements with accuracy and transparency
- Follow-up, analysing and reporting on actual results vs. budget and forecast
- Variance analysis and explanation to management
- Ensuring accurate accruals and accounting entries
- Preparation and coordination of budget and forecast process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Improvement and standardization of reporting processes
- Automation of reporting and data processing
- Ensuring data quality and consistency
About you

You have a strong analytical eye and aim to deliver high quality with all details on point while prioritizing without losing track. This position may have various entry points. For us, the most important thing is that you are educated in economics, have knowledge of applicable accounting regulations and principles, and experienced in business controlling - preferably from a project company. Further, you are an experienced Excel user - and preferably also a user of Power Bi/Query/Pivot - with excellent analytical skills enabling you to contribute to business discussions based on your data.
