Job Description
SELCO Foundation was established in 2010 as a not-for-profit organization with the vision of leveraging clean energy solutions to drive social, economic, and environmental sustainability for underserved communities. Rooted in the belief that renewable energy if deployed through a demand driven, systems lens can be critical enabler for poverty alleviation and overall wellbeing, the Foundation works to integrate efficient use of sustainable energy into key development sectors like livelihoods and healthcare. SELCO Foundation believes that the purpose of innovation needs to be led by people and planet imperatives combined. This requires enabling ecosystem for local ownership, development, adoption, and sustenance of sustainable energy innovations. To do so, addressing key ecosystem aspects like- supply chain of efficient technologies, affordable end-user financing, local entrepreneur and enterprise development, and practitioner-driven policies becomes imperative to sustain long term changemaking.
About the Role
The Senior District Coordinator will serve as a district-level anchor for transforming maternal and child care outcomes in Nandurbar through a convergence-driven approach. This role will work closely with the District Magistrate's office and key government departments to align stakeholders, programs, and resources under a unified Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Maternal Care mission.
The position requires a systems thinker and field leader who can integrate public health priorities, climate-resilient infrastructure, and clean energy solutions into district-level programming.
Key Responsibilities

District Convergence & Governance
- Work closely with the District Magistrate's office to establish a district convergence platform
- Align departments such as Health, ICDS, and Women & Child Development
- Facilitate coordination among government and partner stakeholders

Maternal Care Systems Strengthening
- Strengthen maternal care systems across pre, during, and post-pregnancy stages
- Support setup of model labour rooms
- Ensure availability of maternal healthcare equipment

Early Childhood Development (ECD)
- Strengthen Anganwadi ecosystems
- Support growth monitoring and ECD tools
- Promote community awareness on child development

Climate-Resilient Infrastructure & Clean Energy
- Integrate climate-resilient solutions in health and Anganwadi infrastructure
