Senior Manager, Group Tax

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible to provide regional tax advisory support and project management of investments/acquisitions/ transactions/fundings, etc.
• Responsible to review tax computation, tax returns, relevant supporting work required for corporate tax compliance and audit support in for entities within the Sembcorp Group (Singapore and regionally)
• Support all related party transactions compliance with Transfer Pricing requirements and documentation.
• Support other Group Tax Members on assigned tax projects, e.g. BEPs implementation, BEPS compliance, other notifications/ tax filings as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Min 8 years of relevant tax experience, with some demonstrated experience in international M&A tax structuring and tax planning projects
• Experience in reviewing and managing tax matters in other countries like China/Vietnam/Philippines/ Middle East would be preferred.
• Degree with a major in Accounting/Tax, Accredited Tax Professional or comparable professional credentials
• Strong team player. Demonstrates collaboration, accountability and puts the institution's interest in the first place.
• Able to adapt own communication styles to the different audience.
• Has ability to efficiently progress multiples assignments. Has excellent attention to detail and consistently high levels of accuracy and ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
• Possesses a growth mindset who stays on top of business changes, commercial arrangements and tax technical changes.
