Job Description

What you will do

  • Comprehensive management of plant operations and maintenance, coordinating both main and secondary service providers to ensure proper functioning, efficiency, and continuity of the facility.
  • Oversight and authorization of work, adaptation of contractual tasks to departmental needs, and coordination of all subcontractors and suppliers involved.
    Execution of operational tasks in substations, and medium-voltage lines, and transformer, supporting local operations alongside the main contractor.
  • Organization and assignment of daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and work standards while maintaining optimal plant performance.
  • Continuous technical support to operators, personnel management (work schedules, holidays), and resource management (PPE, vehicles, minor payments).
  • Preparation of operation and maintenance reports through SCADA monitoring, technical analysis, and consolidation of data to support decision-making.
  • Regular communication with the remote office regarding plant availability, coordination of switching operations, outages, and adjustments of operational programs due to incidents or changing conditions.
  • Recording, coding, and analysis of relevant communications.
  • Incident management, including on-site diagnosis, identification and coordination of appropriate service providers, supervision of repair works on site, substations, lines, and transformer centers, and response to incidents both during and outside working hours, serving as the initial point of contact for owners.
  • Waste management and environmental monitoring in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Active involvement in continuous improvement processes, participating in the analysis, definition, implementation, and monitoring of improvement initiatives, and promoting behavioral transformation toward operational excellence. Ensuring subcontractor compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements related to occupational safety, environmental protection, and quality.
  • Communication of environmental requirements to subcontractors and promotion of good environmental practices on-site.
    Oversight of waste management according to legal and internal requirements, compliance with operational control measures, and monitoring of relevant indicators. Dissemination of emergency response procedures to all personnel and reporting of any "near miss" or emergency situation to the corresponding supervisor.
