We are seeking an experienced and dedicated International Tax Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Munich. In this key role, you will be responsible for tax planning and strategy on an international level, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and you will gain exciting insights into our renewable energy business. If you have in-depth knowledge of international tax law and are eager to work in a dynamic, international environment, we look forward to receiving your application.

What you will do
- You act as a contact person for international tax questions in the BayWa r.e. Group and are in close contact with the tax functions in the non-German group companies
- You are responsible for providing tax advice and support for international projects (e.g. internal reorganizations, M&A transactions), and collaborate with external tax advisors in this regard
- Your work encompasses also activities such as tax compliance (e.g. foreign permanent establishments), support with local tax audits and fulfillment of reporting obligations (e.g. DAC6) - moreover, you ensure compliance with Pillar II
- You monitor relevant changes in domestic and foreign tax law, and ensure their implementation
- You implement group-wide projects or initiate them proactively, establishing guidelines and standards, including the delivery of training courses
- You support the design and implementation of digital work processes with regard to tax, as well as the improvement of the tax compliance management system
What you'll need to succeed
- Successfully completed studies in Law or Business Administration with a focus on taxes or comparable degree in finance
- Several years of professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in a tax department of an internationally operating company or in auditing/tax consultancy company, ideally tax advisor exam or comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge of national and international tax law
- Distinctive analytical skills, quick comprehension as well as a solution-oriented, independent and responsible way of working
- Strong team spirit and proactive communication style
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written, other foreign languages are an advantage
