Job Description

• Research: Primary and secondary research, literature survey, drafting research tools, analysis and drawing inferences.
• Content development: Background notes, dossiers, frameworks, student-friendly content on the environment and sustainable development, drafting of policy papers and strategies, developing content, and ideating for IEC material.
• Session moderation and facilitation: Developing training manuals, facilitating sessions, and conducting learning games and activities.
• Networking: Liaison with like-minded organisations including Government bodies, academic institutions, bilateral, and multilateral organisations.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Development of M&E frameworks and documentation.
• Coordination and logistics management: Follow-ups with schools, internal teams, vendors, and partners.
• Other: Process documentation, report writing, handling social media, management and coordination for events, explore business development opportunities.

Qualification

• A relevant master's degree in science- environment studies- environment management- social science or an equivalent discipline.

Skills

• The incumbent should be well-versed with functional knowledge of environment and sustainable development.
• S/He should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• S/He should possess excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with educators and students at school and college level.
• S/He should be punctual and abide by organisational behaviour.
• S/He should possess leadership skills and can also work in teams.
• S/He should be able to travel on work and project-related assignments.
• S/He should be well versed with using MS Office- data handling and social media. The candidate should possess acumen to learn new online tools like canva- ChatGPT- etc.
