Job Description

As India Communications Head, you will be the voice behind ENGIE's reputation in the country. You will craft strategy, build trust with stakeholders, and inspire employees through purposeful storytelling. What You'll Do
- Develop and execute ENGIE India's communications strategy across external, internal, and digital channels.
- Serve as the primary media contact for India, managing journalist relationships and driving thought-leadership visibility for senior executives.
- Lead internal communications that strengthen culture, connect teams, and support employee engagement across all India operations.
- Shape ENGIE India's digital presence through content planning, social media campaigns, and performance-driven storytelling on LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Prepare high-quality communication materials for government bodies, investors, partners, and project stakeholders.
- Act as the crisis communications lead for India, ensuring rapid, coordinated responses and maintaining preparedness protocols.
- Manage PR agencies, creative partners, and content suppliers while upholding brand governance and editorial standards.
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, public affairs, or a related discipline.
- Background in energy, infrastructure, sustainability, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred.
- Proven strategic thinking with excellent writing, editorial, and media relations skills.
- Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed organisations.
- Fluency in digital and social media strategy, including content creation and analytics.
- Strong crisis communication judgment and experience managing reputational issues.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus.
Location
India - Hybrid working arrangement. You will combine on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.
