Job Description

At OX2 we accelerate access to renewable energy and help power the shift toward a more sustainable future. The HR team plays a key role and has a significant impact on the organization's continued success.

Joining the HR Team at OX2 means being a part of an ambitious and diverse group of HR professionals on an exciting journey ahead. We currently consist of 6 HR Business Partners, 4 HR Specialists, and 1 Talent Acquisition Partner. The team spans Sweden, Finland, Poland, Italy and Australia, with headquarters in central Stockholm.

We are now looking for our new colleague to join us and take ownership of the HR work in Finland. This is a 1-year temporary position (parental leave cover). The preferred location is Helsinki but also our offices in Oulu and Tampere are possible.

HR Business Partner Finland

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support OX2's operations across Finland. You will act as a trusted advisor to our business leaders, working closely together with the Country Manager for Finland. As HRBP you act as a bridge between HR and the business and ensure alignment between HR strategy and business objectives whilst working on operative tasks covering the full employee lifecycle.

This role is pivotal in driving the HR initiative and supporting the organization on a strategic change journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with local and regional leadership teams to provide proactive and strategic HR guidance and operational support.
  • Take ownership and ensure operational excellence throughout the employee lifecycle such as onboarding, workforce planning, talent mapping etc. Payroll is outsourced but coordinated in this role.
  • Coach and support business leaders in HR and employee related topics.
  • Advise on employee relations and ensure overall compliance with local labor laws and collective bargaining agreement in Finland.
  • Support in organizational development initiatives, performance management processes, and succession planning.
  • Be part of the group HR function and collaborate with colleagues in HR such as Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and Compensation & Benefits to manage and implement group-wide HR initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience in a broad HR generalist or HR Business Partner role, ideally with exposure to international environments and matrix organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of Finnish employment legislation and HR practices is a must.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and employees at all levels.
  • Solid technical skills, you learn new systems quickly (experience in SAP Success Factors is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication skills in English are required.
