Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for a Manager / Sr. Manager to join our Tax team in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

You will be part of a highly professional and international tax function based in Copenhagen and New York supporting investor relations and investment teams. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality tax management and effective advisor oversight in a growing global tax function within a global renewable energy investment platform. Moreover, you'll be a part of a collaborative, informal, and high-performing team culture.

Role

This is a visible, outward-facing role where you will work with cross-border structures, interact with investors, and help ensure high-quality tax processes. You'll get exposure to complex fund structures and international investor environments, and significant responsibility with direct stakeholder and investor interaction.

This is a varied role with broad exposure, suited for someone who thrives in a changing work environment, stays accountable, and can manage multiple priorities without losing structure.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Engage directly with investor relations team on investor tax reporting matters
  • Review and oversee tax return compliance across multiple jurisdictions and entities
  • Manage and guide external advisors to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency
  • Streamline process improvements, standardization, and automation within tax operations

You

We are looking for a theoretically well-rounded, practical, methodical, and forward-looking profile with a keen interest in international tax and investment fund environments. You have min. 5-6 years of full-time experience from a law firm, Big Four, fund environment, or similar.

Moreover, you have solid understanding of international tax and cross-border structures.

  • Comfortable with technology and working with data, systems, and process optimization
  • Effective communicator who can interact confidently with both advisors and investors
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and fluent in English
  • Self-motivated with a structured and disciplined approach to your work, the ability to connect the dots on your own, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
