Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in Private Equity and Renewable Energy Infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the place for you. We are currently looking for a motivated Senior Associate to join our Global Rewards Team, based in our headquarters in Copenhagen.

Team

You will join the Global Rewards Team, a team at CIP that takes an entrepreneurial and goal-oriented approach to defining and delivering on our business's overall global rewards strategy. The Global Rewards Team works on a mandate from our Executive Committee and Compensation Committee, defining and orchestrating the execution of the global rewards strategy for all our CIP teams. As part of this, our team holds the responsibility to ensure that the ~50 CIP Partners stay engaged and motivated.

Role

As our new team member in Global Rewards, you will work closely with the Head of Rewards and the Global Rewards Team in designing and conceptualizing incentive schemes, and in doing so you will cooperate closely with talented colleagues in several teams across CIP. Our rewards and incentives programs are critical to CIP reaching our strategic goals, and the Global Rewards team's work requires deep stakeholder engagement across the business, from design to implementation.

You will play a key role in developing high-quality presentations, communication materials, and structured processes that support the work of the Global Rewards Team. This is a role with a clear focus on creating sharp and impactful PowerPoint materials, helping drive team priorities forward, and contributing to the strategic direction of the team.

For the right candidate, this will be a unique opportunity to participate in setting the direction for the rewards and incentives strategy in CIP globally, across a broad range of markets and functions - and at the same time being exposed to rich development opportunities. You will benefit from a fast learning curve within rewards and incentives, in the context of a thriving private equity company that is also one of the fastest growing renewable energy infrastructure firms globally.

NB: The role will likely be based in Copenhagen, but we are also open to London-based candidates to join our London office.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to

  • Define and deliver the overall global rewards strategy for CIP together with the Global Rewards Team
  • Design / conceptualize incentive schemes together with the team
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations and communication materials that clearly convey complex topics to senior stakeholders
  • Help build and improve team processes, ways of working, and project structure to support effective execution across the Global Rewards Team
  • Take part in delivering reward and incentive schemes within our annual cycle
  • Support the team on strategic priorities and contribute to shaping how Global Rewards communicates and executes across key initiatives

You

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional, holding a relevant degree in finance, economics, business or other relevant field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with exposure to rewards / incentive schemes. The work environment at CIP is engaging and fast-paced, and offers an intellectually stimulating atmosphere, amongst diverse colleagues with a global outlook. Therefore, we are looking for a motivated, incisive, and structured professional to join our team.

We look for the following in a candidate

  • Solid financial acumen with ability to translate complex matters into clear messages
  • Experience with rewards / incentives is an advantage but not a requirement. However, you should be interested in embarking on a career within rewards and be willing to take on a steep learning curve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in creating high-quality PowerPoint presentations
  • Results-driven with a high execution orientation, and a focus on effective problem solving and clear communication
  • Effective project leadership skills, with experience delivering complex projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a structured and disciplined approach to your work, the ability to connect the dots independently, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
