Job Description
Do you want to join a global fund manager specializing in energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is seeking a Vice President, Client Relationship Manager to join our Client Service Team in the Investor Relations and Business Development (IRBD) function based in Singapore.
Since CIP's founding in 2012, we have grown to become one of the world's largest dedicated energy infrastructure fund managers, with more than EUR 34bn in AUM and over 200 institutional investors globally. Investor Relations & Business Development (IRBD) is responsible for all investor facing activities and business development from product and fund design, fundraising, investor onboarding and ongoing service of investors. The function is international, diverse and consists of over 70 professionals from different backgrounds, based in 6 offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
Team
The Client Service team is an integral part of IRBD and is responsible for delivering a responsive and high-quality investor experience throughout the end-to-end investor lifecycle. Working closely with the Capital Formation team in the region.
Role
The Client Relationship Manager, Vice President in the Client Service team will manage investor relationships, ensuring that all client needs are anticipated and addressed through seamless, accurate and timely execution across all servicing touchpoints. Client Service has a significant strategic role within CIP, partnering closely with a range of internal stakeholders to help deliver operational excellence. The team is central to CIP's ability to scale and supports the continued growth of the firm by developing long-term partnerships across the global investor base.
Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to
Relationship Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for all investors across the region, delivering a consistently high-quality servicing experience.
- Anticipate investor needs and manage all touchpoints throughout the investor lifecycle.
- Work with regional Capital Formation team to coordinate all investor engagements (e.g. investor meetings, roadshows, events, conferences, etc.) for existing clients and sometimes for prospective clients.
- Investor Onboarding
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new investors to provide a seamless experience for investors in funds and Separately Managed Accounts.
- Ensure onboarding steps are executed accurately and on time, working closely with Legal, Operations, Finance and all teams involved in the process.
- Maintain clear communication with investors and internal stakeholders throughout onboarding to ensure transparency and smooth execution.
Mid-Lifecycle Servicing & Oversight
- Handle ongoing inquiries from existing investors in alignment with the relevant teams within IRBD and the wider CIP organization
- Safeguard the accuracy and consistency of all investor-facing outputs and deliverables, ensuring rigorous quality checks and alignment with internal governance standards.
- Monitor ongoing investor activity and engagement, surfacing trends, potential risks, or areas where service can be enhanced.
- Support the evolution and daily operation of CIP's digital servicing ecosystem, including the Investor Portal and DealCloud CRM system.
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate across Investment, Operations, Legal, Finance, Compliance and other IRBD teams to ensure aligned, timely and high-quality delivery to investors.
- Act as the operational "glue" between teams, ensuring accountability, clear ownership and smooth execution across complex cross-functional workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying operational bottlenecks and proposing enhancements to processes or investor touchpoints.
Strategic Projects
- Participate in shaping the strategic direction of the global Client Service team
- Lead and contribute to key strategic initiatives of the Client Service team and wider IRBD teams that enhance CIP's servicing model.
- Represent the Client Service perspective in global programs aimed at enhancing investor experience, operational efficiency and internal coordination.
You
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Client Relationship Manager that holds a relevant degree and a minimum of 10+ years of experience from a role within a client facing business - experience in energy infrastructure or private markets is valuable.

- Methodical & Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to analyze complex investor queries or operational issues, identify underlying drivers, and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Project & Workflow Management - Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing effectively across competing timelines within a rapidly growing organization.
- Technical & Systems Capability - Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., DealCloud, Salesforce) and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly adopt new digital tools and processes.
