Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for an Analyst to join the Fund Structuring team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Since our founding in 2012, we have grown to become the largest dedicated renewable energy fund manager globally, with a clear ambition to continue scaling our platform and contribute to the green transition across global energy systems.

The Fund Structuring function is a lean team currently consisting of two professionals, working closely with stakeholders across Legal, Tax, Finance, and the Investment teams. The team plays a central role in designing and implementing new funds, supporting new product launches, and ensuring efficient execution of fund operations across the CIP platform.

Despite its size, the function operates across the full fund lifecycle - from early-stage structuring and product design to launch execution and ongoing fund operations - and is deeply embedded in cross-functional workstreams. This setup enables a high degree of ownership, flexibility, and direct involvement in key strategic initiatives.

The role

As a Student Analyst, you will work closely in the Fund Structuring team and gain hands-on exposure to the structuring, launch, and operation of infrastructure funds and investment vehicles.

You will support a team that sits at the intersection of Legal, Tax, Finance, and the Investment team, helping to coordinate workstreams, structure fund solutions, and ensure efficient fund management execution across the fund platform at CIP.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work on complex fund structures in a highly international environment, while developing both your analytical and coordination skills.

Responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the structuring and setup of new funds and co-investment vehicles
  • Assisting in coordinating cross-functional workstreams across Legal, Tax, Finance, and Investment teams
  • Preparing analyses and materials (Excel / PowerPoint) to support decision-making and internal discussions
  • Contributing to the development of fund documentation, internal frameworks, and structuring concepts
  • Supporting ongoing fund operations and handling ad hoc structuring-related tasks
  • Helping improve internal processes, tools, and ways of working within the team
  • Assisting with data gathering, benchmarking, and analysis across funds

This part-time Analyst position requires approximately 15-20 hours per week, and you are enrolled at a university. We value flexibility, so your workload may vary, and we expect both you and the team to adapt accordingly. You will report directly to a Finance Manager, who will provide you with mentorship and guidance as you embark on this exciting journey with us.

We look for the following in a candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor's or master's degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar)
  • Strong analytically, with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Confident and proactive, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all seniority levels
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment with many stakeholders outside of Finance
  • Proactive and motivated, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

The process

Please apply online as soon as possible as applications will be processed on an ongoing basis. For questions related to the role, please reach out to our Talent Acquisition team at [email protected]. We do not include CV's and Cover Letters sent by email.

As we continue to improve our candidate experience, diversity and avoid unconscious bias, please avoid having a photo in your CV. We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality for all applicants.
