BayWa r.e. Korea is looking for a Junior Accountant to join the FiCo team on a fixed-term contract basis as maternity and parental leave replacement.

This position will support finance and accounting operations, including monthly and annual closing, group financial reporting, AP processing, employee expense review, tax-related documentation, treasury-related tasks, audit support, and other ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly and annual financial closing processes
  • Prepare monthly group financial reporting packages
  • Review employee expense claims (T&E) and post related accounting journal entries
  • Process AP entries and manage payments
  • Manage bank transactions and support treasury-related activities
  • Prepare supporting documents for VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings
  • Support external audits and prepare requested audit documentation
  • Perform ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Ability to communicate in English via business email
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a responsible working attitude
  • Good communication skills with internal employees and relevant departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
