Job Description

Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Fund Solutions (CIP FS) is looking for a Financial Controller to join our office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Team

The Investment Platform Team manages all entities between the Fund vehicles and the local project vehicles established in the countries where our projects are being developed. Those entities are registered in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Denmark. They include Investment Platforms, Development Companies, and Holding Companies.

Role

Reporting to the Finance Director for CIP FS in Amsterdam and Head of the Investment Platform Team, you will become part of a growing and busy team, where you will shape and develop our finance setup for the Netherlands and be closely engaged in the various workstreams around the assets in our portfolio - a role which will allow you to put your drive, solid analytical skills and solid stakeholder controlling skills into play.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Ongoing controlling of accounts and projects going through the Dutch Investment Platforms in accordance with existing processes and controlling models or tools
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate initiatives to improve accounting processes and procedures, together with our external accounting provider
  • Oversight and control of accounting service provider activities
  • Monitor the Contribution and Distribution Process
  • Provide information and reporting to the different stakeholders, like our investment teams around the world
  • Participate in our annual audit process

You

We are looking for a motivated individual holding a relevant Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business or similar, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, financial controlling, or consultancy.

  • Interest in operations and business development of renewable energy assets
  • Knowledge of operational finance
  • Solid experience with Excel
  • Knowledge of Business Central and Power BI are a plus
  • Written and spoken English at a professional level
